Intro
Welcome! This is the story of how I modified a 1998 Nissan Skyline ENR34 Sedan, to make it more appealing as a fast daily driven car, and what I learned along the way. Hopefully you will find some of the details interesting or perhaps even useful! Ever since going to the Bathurst 1000 in 1990 (I was 10 years old) and watching Richards and Skaife debut the Gibson Motorsport R32 Skyline GT-R I have been fascinated with the Attesa-ETS 4wd system. The 600hp RB26 engine was also fairly good... It seemed to me that a having a car that was predominately rear wheel drive, with a computer controlled clutch sending torque to the front wheels when required was an amazing platform, that would allow a driver to make use of a large amount of power, for cornering and straight line acceleration, rather than merely turning it into tyre smoke.
